Zaatar Bread
- 4 store bought pita
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup olive oil, plus more for drizzling
- Scant tablespoon sumac
- Coarse salt
Heat oven to 350. Split pitas and arrange, crumb side up, on a parchment lined baking sheet. Combine oregano, thyme and sesame seeds in a small bowl. Brush each pita half with olive oil. Sprinkle pita with herb mixture, sumac and salt. Toast until pita is crisp and golden, about 15 minutes. Remove from oven and drizzle with olive oil before serving.
